The Application to Double Degree between Department of Economics, NTU and Waseda University, Japan Started Being Accepted.
Students who would like to study in Waseda University from April 2021, please hand in the application documents to TA Shang-Yu, Chen in department office by October 16th 17:00. The official offer will be sent by Waseda University in mid-March 2021.

- Application Form
- One copy of transcript for all semesters in Chinese. Average GPA shall not be under 3.225.
- Japanese Language Proficiency Test N1 certification or the transcript of EJU (Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students) over 220 points (include) (full points: 400).
- Biography and study plan (Chinese and Japanese version each one copy).

- Please attach transcript of one of the following language proficiency tests:
- Paper-based TOEFL (PBT) over 550 points (include)
- Computer-based TOEFL (CBT) over 213 points (include)
- New internet-based TOEFL (iBT) over 80 points(include)
- Biography and study plan (Chinese and English version each one copy).
Note:
- Students participating in this program shall be back to NTU for 1 semester after completing 3-semester-studying in Waseda University.
- The 64 credits from studying in Waseda University can be waived up to 20 credits as the general elective subjects in our department in graduation credit.
- Only students above junior year (include) and complete the study of The Principle of Economics (with Recitation), Microeconomics and Macroeconomics are allowed to apply.
- Bai Xian Asia Institute established Asian Future Leaders Scholarship Program since 2014, which offer scholarship to foreign students going to study in Waseda University. To apply the scholarship, it needs to compete with all the other students who study abroad in Japan from other Asian countries.
